About me

Nice to meet you! I'm El. I grew up in a small village in Buckinghamshire, spending most of my young school days excited to return home, draw and play with my dog. As a teenager, I attended Pipers Corner School, where I developed an adoration for acting in all senses. I especially enjoyed musical theatre and hard hitting drama, partaking both in school and in extra curricular activities. I loved studying characters and scripts, analysing every thing about a story being told. When I was 15, the world went into lockdown. I suddenly had an abundance of free time, which I quickly poured into drawing and painting, something I hadn't done since I was a child. I also developed a love of photography, I would return home and paint the images I captured. Throughout quarantine, I taught myself video editing which is a skill that has been benefcicial to me many times in my creative endevours.

After quarantine, I begun sixth form, where I studied Psychology, Media and Art, further growing my love for both film and the arts. I went on to study fine art at Bath Spa University, where I hit a wall.

As much as I adored fine art, I found myself missing storytelling, and creating a character. I knew I wanted to create, and I didn't want to put away my artistic side, so after two years in Bath, I moved to the University of the West of England to study animation.
